K-Tech’s Linear Front Fork Springs - Road & Track
In the aftermarket world most suspension tuners prefer linear or straight rate springs. This is beacause suspension tuners are not trying to be all to everyone like bike manufactures, and linear rate springs can be better tailored to the rider and riding style to achieve a better and more consistent response.
- K-Tech fork springs are produced to K-tech specifications in Europe.
- Fork springs are made from the highest quality Japanese Silicone chrome wire.
- Springs are pre-set and stress relieved giving an extended life span and a higher performance over stock springs.
- All K-Tech fork springs are supplied polished for a smoother action along with the spring rate etched on the end for easy reference.
- Designed and tested for each specific bike model, and to achieve the best possible results each set of K-Tech springs are supplied in combination with the correct oil type and air chamber setting.
- Various spring rates are available for road or racing applications.

Selecting Your Spring Rate!!
Basically the spring rate you need depends on your bike’s weight, your weight, and the intended usage. Based on this information we will supply the optimum fork springs to suit you and your riding style.
Firstly - we need to know the exact make, model and year of your bike.
Secondly - we need to know your weight fully kitted (helmet, leathers, boots, etc)
Thirdly - we need to know your riding style, as follows:
Racing – exactly what it says.
Fast road / trackdays – hard road riding, including heavy braking and aggressive riding through the twisty bits, possibly some track action thrown in as well.
Normal road – some hard braking, not as fast in the corners.
Touring – Moderate / fast pace, long distances, little hard cornering.
