ISR - Endurance Racing Master Cylinder

Fully Adjustable Endurance Master Cylinder from ISR - Sweden.

A master cylinder designed for endurance racing, comes with a hinged clamp and two piece body to allow rapid changes after minor crashes without the need to bleed the brakes. Conventionally configured master cylinder incorporating a remote brake fluid reservoir (available separately). It also has control to allow adjustment for both reach and lever ratio.

Adjustable lever ratio - the range of adjustment is 5:1 to 3.8:1. In layman’s terms this means that when set to the minimum (3.8:1) you have to move the lever further to get the same braking effect but there is a lot more sensitivity in the feel of the brakes.

Reach adjustable - carried out by hexagonal adjuster on the lever; moving the adjuster clockwise lowers the ratio and anticlockwise increases it. There are no positve stops allowing any ratio between the extremes to be selected, giving maximum adjustment capability. Total adjustable range of 28mm. Adjustment can be easily carried out while riding using the index finger, without the need to let go of the handlebar or throttle.

Additional Benefits -
  • Remote reservoir design (if you do not already have a remote reservoir you will need to fit one along with reservoir pipe and pipe clips).
  • Only available with 17.5mm bore.
  • Matching Cable Clutch Lever Assembly is available - see below under related products.
  • Clear anodised, corrosion resistant finish.
  • Weight 440g.
  • Handlebar size 22mm.

All ISR master cylinders use a standard banjo bolt fitment for brakes lines of M10 x 1.25mm. Single or double brake line banjo bolts are available either for road use which has a brake light switch in the head or a standard bolt for racing. Banjo bolt fitment is parallel to the handlebar.
