Each brake line kit comes with all stainless steel fittings, braided hoses and banjo bolts, copper washers and PVC hose cover. HEL is the only manufacturer to offer exclusive coloured stainless steel fittings as well as your choice of coloured PVC covers. Each coloured stainless steel fitting has 13 coats of colour and is UV protected.

HEL braided brake lines use a Teflon PTFE interior rather than a standard PTFE interior. The use of Teflon allows HEL brake lines to be bent 18,000,000 times before rupturing compared to 750,000 times for competing products. That’s 24 times more strength! Also HEL braided brake lines can also withstand 18,000 psi without failure. Other braided brake lines can only withstand 5,000 psi (normal motorcycle braking is 800-1,000 psi).

Explanation of Front Brake Line Layouts -

• 2 Line Front - Two seperate lines from the master cyclinder, one line to the left caliper and one line to the right caliper.(This can be selected for any bike no matter what the original setup is, it dispenses with any splitter boxes thereby saving on both weight and cost. This setup is known as the racers choice.)
• Over The Mudguard - A single line from the master cylinder to the right caliper then a second line from the right caliper looping over the mudguard to the left caliper.
• 3 Line Front - A single line from the master cylinder to a ’T’ piece under the head stock then two lines from the T piece, one to the right caliper and one to the left caliper
