Trumpet-style or megaphone silencers became an incredible success and customers started asking about fitting these silencers to bigger bikes (the bigger the bike, the higher the noise). So Arrow started thinking about increasing the inner volume of the ’Pro-Race’ racing silencer, and the ’Pro-Racing’ line was born. Pro-Racing silencers design has the final section diameter increased to ø106mm (up from ø98mm) making the inner volume big enough. Moreover, the design is more flexible (different layouts are available, with a single cone or two cone-shaped sections welded together), thus allowing the guys in the R&D to develop an exhaust which fits almost prefectly to the bike’s design. Pro-Racing silencers are attached to the bike via a fixed welded point as it is not possible to use a carbon or stainless steel strap, as is usual for silencers with a regular section. Pro-Racing silencers are made in a newly introduce stainless steel alloy (Nichrome) with a carbon endcap and are street legal featuring a removable dB-killer.
