Road Approved - Removable Baffles
This is the original Arrow line of exhaust systems for sportsbikes homologated for road use. The distinctive rhomboid shape of the silencer sleeve combined with the light weight stainless steel pipework gives a combination of elegance as well as performance within the European regulations.
- Exhaust system (from ex. valve back - no downpipes) with road approved oval silencer.
- Road / Track silencers feature a removeable baffle for race track use.
- Available Titanium only.
- Fits at Standard or High Level - High Level in most cases means that the pillion footrests must be removed.
- Pipework is light weight stainless steel.
- Up to 30% - 50% reduction in weight over original equipment.
The Silencer - The same technology used to develop the Titanium Pro-Racing silencers range is available also in the road legal version to enjoy the exclusivity and high performance level in full compliance with the latest European Community road regulations. The racing and the road approved silencers range share the same manufacturing procedures using top quality materials such as aluminium, titanium and stainless steel assembled together using only T.I.G. and M.I.G. welding techniques.
However, the street legal version reduces drastically the sound emission through the use of an innovative inner silencer design, while maintaining the performance gain within the limits allowed by the European regulations. Each silencer is supplied with a copy of certification filed at the Ministry of Transportation.
Pipework - Arrow pipework is the result of the knowlege acquired on the race track, the use of high quality materials and precise manufacturing.
This is the linking element between the downpipes and the exhaust. It is therefore evident that they are very important to the proper working of the entire exhaust system, they have to ensure the flow of gas in a fast and smooth way whilst resisting at the same time all thermic and noise solicitations transmitted by the gas itself. Therefore there is a need to use resistant material but with a relative light weight as the actual technology requires.
