AFAM XHR / XHRC - Special Race Chain - Available Colours: Gold, Blue, Green & Red

AFAM chains are made according to stringent technical specifications by the largest Japanese chain producers. They are the result of over 20 years of experience and know how and a collaboration between the AFAM R&D department and the top Japanese chain technicians. Thus ensuring the most appropriate chains for all of today’s high performance racing motorcycles.

• The very latest are the XHR / XHRC Hyper heavy duty‘X’ ring chains.
• These are manufactured using the latest revolutionary XP-2 ‘X’ ring joint which reduces friction, increases resistance to stretch and increases resistance to wear.
• This results in the replacement of the two ‘O’ ring contact faces with four lubricated faces and this allows these chains to be amongst the best performing in the world.
• XHR & XHRC chains offer: 20% better wear resistance, 17% higher tensile strength and 9% greater fatigue strength over conventional ’O’ ring chains.

Often products supplied to top race teams are very different to those on general sale but not with AFAM quality! We are now able to offer their special racing chains. They are 520, 525 or 530 pitch using hyper heavy duty ‘X’ Ring seals.

• Afam XHR chains have gold side plates where as XHRC chains are available with blue, green or red side plates.
• All road racing chains come in 120 links only.
