Not the most riveting of subjects but brake and clutch levers play an important role in how each of these systems work and feel to the rider.
Most people never bother changing them unless there old ones get damaged but there are some pretty trick brake and clutch levers out there with some definite benefits.
These benefits can be in the form different lever ratios which effects how the lever feels and how much travel to flip-up type levers, that help prevent snapping in the event of a crash to remote adjusters which enables the rider to adjust the lever span while keeping control of the throttle.
Most aftermarket motorcycle brake and clutch levers offer some weight saving and many have a choice of finishes. |
